Dr. Craig Allen is a professor at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Dr. Allen teaches graduate level courses in resilience and biological invasions and acts as an advisor for students in the graduate and Ph.D. Natural Resource Sciences programs. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Resilience Alliance. Dr. Allen is interested in the links between land use and land cover change, biological invasions, and extinctions. He has previously worked as the Unit Leader of the Nebraska and South Carolina Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit and as an Associate Professor in the Clemson Department of Forestry, Natural Resources, and Biological Sciences. Dr. Allen grew up in Madison, Wisconsin, and received his B.S. in Biology from the University of Wisconsin. He received his Masters in Wildlife Science from Texas Tech and his Ph.D. in Wildlife Ecology from the University of Florida where he also held a post-doc position in Zoology.
