Research Description:

Using protein purification and crystallographic techniques to resolve the structure of wild-type and mutant Thiamin synthase (THI4) a suicide enzyme. The goal is to identify the conformational states of the mutation(s) that improve the enzyme’s lifespan relative to the wild-type
